Karvouno Villas

What can I say about this place and the team that manage the Karvouno Villas ….. Alexandra and Michael are fantastic Villa hosts who understand the importance of a relaxed family holiday ….. nothing is too much trouble and the Villa and surroundings are amazing. We rented boats for a couple of days and travelled around the surrounding beaches and blue lagoon, and complimentary kayaks are available to use on the beach which results in relaxing moments taking in the beautiful surroundings. Taxis are available in and out of the town with ease if you don’t fancy the steep but short walks to town We can’t wait to return to the best villa we have ever stayed in …. Well Done Karvouno and Alexandra and Michael on what has been a fantastic 10 days

We had a fabulous stay in Villa Michail with our 2 children.The villa has amazing views over the bay with lots of space with a lounge, kitchen, double bedroom and bathroom on 1st floor and another bedroom, shower room and cinema room downstairs. The air conditioning worked well and the beds were very comfortable. Outside, there are two dining areas, plus the pool. Inflatables were provided along with a washing machine (lovely to come home with no pile of washing). The villa and pool were both cleaned to a high standard daily. Our stay included breakfast and lunch, which were varied, tasty and plentiful. We were able to chose from breakfast menu (crepes, pancakes, omelettes, yoghurt with fruit and honey, etc.) and then had a set villa menu at lunchtimes. The children were able to pick alternatives from the main menu. Whilst the food was excellent, we would probably have preferred a more flexible/lighter lunch menu and/or the opportunity to swop for dinner. All the staff worked incredibly hard to make our stay comfortable, including providing a delicious birthday cake with candles for our son’s birthday. The beach is more gritty than sandy, but the water is very clear and sheltered. Perfect for children. The villas have front row sun loungers reserved for them, which is enforced. We enjoyed watching the boats coming in and out. There are also kayaks and paddle boards available for guests to borrow. The only minor improvements that we could think of would be a welcome pack (with details on meal times, facilities, trips, Wi-Fi, etc.) and to upgrade the villa sun loungers to one’s with cushions (reflecting 5* standard). These did not detract from our stay in any way. Thank you to Mr Michail, Maria and the team for an excellent stay and we hope to return again soon.

My husband and I along with his sister and her husband stayed at Villa Michail for a week in June. These villas are fabulous, so well equipped and finished to a very high standard. The lower floor has bedroom with en-suite and a cinema room. Upper floor has lounge, kitchen bathroom and bedroom. It was cleaned every day, pool also cleaned daily. Outside there is a washing machine and enclosed shower, plenty seating and sun beds. Maria was our main contact and was an absolute gem, she seems to work from sunrise to sunset, everything we asked for she gave us without question. We were given breakfast and lunch which was included in our price, all meals were perfect and served by wonderful friendly staff. We also had priority sun beds on the beach. The sea is lovely and calm with beautiful clear water and the views are breathtaking. What more could you possibly want from a holiday! Thank you Mr. Michail, Maria and all the team.
