Vasilitsa Resort

It is a warm and cozy hotel. Our room was clean, warm and very comfortable. The swimming pool was nice and warm after a day of skiing. Really nice jacuzzi as well. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We have been here before and we will come again on our next trip to Vassilitsa.

Yup, so disappointing! As soon as we arrived after a long trip during snowstorms, snow chains, icy roads, foggy and low visibility a bad surprise was expecting us: everybody was smoking and the excuse was that the hotel is divided by a imaginative line on the left smokers and at the right the non smokers but on the same space!!!! This is Greece 2016!!!!!! The swimming pool was unattended (your kids at your own risk), the imaginative gym (a treadmill and a elliptical machine in a so small room with a fireplace!!!!! Children were running also unattended in the treadmill!!!!!! the breakfast apart from a very tasty spinach pie was really mediocre: nothing organic nothing local and do not even thing to ask for low fat milk or yogurt. The Jacuzzi was nice but (the pool also) not really clean. I have to admit that they did help me with the snow-chains and with giving me useful information about were to eat in the nearby villages. For heavy and hardcore smokers that die hard!!!!!!

We have stayed there for 4 days. We have booked 3 rooms. When we arrived at 16:00 the one room was not ready and when we came back a couple of hours later they told us that the rooms was given to someone else by accident. Fortunately they managed to find a third room. -Everyone was smoking inside the hotel and it smelled everywere. -The sheets were dirty. -The hotel was full of kids that were running and screaming everywhere in the hotel and in the corridors and the hotel manager told us that there was nothing they could do. -The bathroom plumming fixtures were not acceptable. Every bathroom had a different issue. -The food at the hotel was pretty good and the prices were very decent. -The location is good and rather close to the snowcenter. For the price of 130€ per night the hotel and the service is not acceptable. I would not return to that hotel and would not reccomend it to anyone unless the price was at least half so that you would know what to accept.
