This was by far the most disappointing hotel experience we had during our trip around Greece. The room we were given (Room 204) looked nothing like the rooms advertised online. The hotel displays renovated, modern rooms on Booking.com, but some rooms have clearly not been renovated at all, and photos of these outdated rooms do not appear anywhere in the listing. Had we known what the room actually looked like, we would never have booked this property. When we raised the issue with the hotel, we were told that the renovated rooms were unavailable because the hotel was full. In other words, the room we booked based on the advertised photos was simply not available to us. This is not a matter of a room being slightly different from the pictures. The difference was dramatic. The room we received was old, worn out, and far below the standard we expected from the property’s online presentation. The staff we spoke with were polite and tried to help, and our frustration was never directed at them. The problem lies with the management and the misleading way the property is marketed. We have traveled extensively throughout Greece and have never encountered such a large gap between the advertised accommodation and the room actually provided.

My experience at Anatolia Hotel was truly flawless from arrival to departure. The room was extremely clean, comfortable and quiet, ideal for rest after a busy day in Thessaloniki. The staff made the difference: always polite, helpful and professional, with an immediate willingness to help with anything I needed. Their hospitality immediately creates a very intimate and warm atmosphere. The hotel’s restaurant is definitely worth a visit, with very careful dishes, quality raw materials and beautiful flavors. As for the spa, it was one of the highlights of my stay, clean space, relaxing environment and truly refreshing experience. Without a second thought, I would choose it again on my next trip to Thessaloniki.

I first came to the hotel for a massage because I had heard good words about Eve, and it really was worth it. Very good at her job, made me completely relaxed. I stayed very happy and will definitely come again!
