Anna Maria Village

When we arrived late we was given a small hamper/ bag with some food and a drink which was a nice touch. The room was a nice size with a lovely little area outside with a table and chairs to sit pretty flower's nice and clean . The restaurant and pool were only a 30 second walk although no noise from these areas. The staff were all friendly and helpful whether ordering a taxi or helping with any requests. The food was OK although half board we ate out 3 or 4 nights as with a smallish hotel the food was quite predictable and pretty much the same the breakfast was OK found enough to get by. The hotel has nice surroundings and grounds and is about a 15 to 20 minutes walk to the beach and similar to restaurants. Hersonissos is a fair stroll into which we did a cab was 12 euros one way. This hotel is a nice place to chill but be prepared for a bit of walking or a few taxis if you want to go into Town. We got to keep our room till we left hotel about half four got charged fifty euros which I thought was a little excessive as most hotels have charged 30 to 40 euros max that's my only moan . As we left it was becoming more busy more children not a criticism and the pool area is quite small so it becomes a bit more noisy so if a couple select when you go wisely.

Beautiful and cozy hotel with sympathetic and friendly staff. Holidaying with mom and son, we were very satisfied. I'll especially mention the delicious breakfasts and varied dinners. And excellent service in the restaurant, both in the dining room and in the restaurant Green: delicious food and alert waiters. Clean and comfortable air-conditioned rooms, marvelous views from the balcony of our room to sunsets over the sea, well-kept grounds, cozy patios and corners with beautiful flowers and trees and lighting at night, close location to the sea, all this made our holiday pleasant and carefree. I'd love to come back here again!

The hotel is small, but very cozy - it is a classic family hotel where guests are really taken care of. Location and territory. The hotel is located in Anissaras village, 25 km from Heraklion Airport . If you are looking for peace and quiet away from discos – this is the perfect option. The grounds are compact, all in greenery and flowers, which creates a special cozy. Numbers. We got an updated suite with a view of the patio. The repairs are fresh, clean and neat. The air conditioning worked properly, Wi-Fi caught all over the property for free . Of the nice little things - there is a kitchen corner with dishes and a fridge, which is convenient for those with children. Food. The kitchen was very pleased. Breakfasts are standard (porridge, eggs, yogurt, pastries), but dinners are great. There was always a choice of salads, hot meat and fish, lots of fresh vegetables and fruit. Special thanks to the chef for the Greek salad and desserts - it was incredibly delicious. Beach. The beaches in Anissaras are rocky, but with crystal clear waters - take masks with you, fishing and exploring the rocks are impressive. Sunbeds on the beach are payable . Due to the road and distance from the water for wheelchairs it may not be very convenient, be prepared. Service. That's what we gave a solid A for. The staff are here, cheering for the hotel. The administrator (speaking different languages) solved any issues instantly. Cleaning daily, towels changed, room clean. Bottom line. A great option for those who appreciate the family atmosphere and good cuisine, are not willing to overpay for promoted brands. The hotel is a strong "threesome", and in terms of quality of food and service pulls and four plus . I recommend taking a car to go around the surrounding beaches and Khersonissos .
