Astali Hotel

My family and I (wife and three children) stayed at the family-run Astali Hotel for three nights whilst visiting Rethymno for a family wedding. We booked through booking.com and regularly communicated with the Hotel via that app. We had a few requests due to our early arrival and Marios was exceptionally responsive and helpful. The family owners really make you feel very welcome and valued as their guest. The hotel itself is perfectly located and has all amenities you could need. The rooms are spotlessly clean and decorated to a high standard. I have stayed in many hotels in Europe and beyond before but this was the only hotel which I feel I should strongly recommend.

We loved everything about our stay. PROS: . Very convenient location close to a beautiful stretch of the beach, the port and the old town - Lovely mother-son team running the hotel: friendly, helpful and efficient. Always there to answer your questions and offer advice - Excellent breakfast with Cretan/Greek specialties, fresh orange juice on top of your regular continental breakfast options. CONS: Not much to complain about. The washroom is a bit small and gets wet when you shower but that wasn't a big deal for us. Highly recommend Crete and this gem of a hotel

Excellent!!!! Great at all !!!! Cleanliness, luxury, impeccable behavior!!!! I strongly recommend!!! Of the hotels that earn you from the first moment. An example to follow for all professionals !!!! The breakfast is amazing. A wide variety of flavors in food and beverages. The staff polite and with constant and tireless disposition to serve the client. Family environment that represents Cretan hospitality !!!!
