Chrissi Amoudia

We deliberately chose TUI SUNEO Chrissi Amoudia because of the information on the website: Dutch animation (“The animation team speaks German, English, French, Dutch and Polish”), a mini club SUNEO PLAY HOUSE (4 to 12 years) and an extensive entertainment program. With two daughters of 3.5 and 9.5 years old we expected a relaxing family holiday in which our children would be actively involved. Unfortunately, in practice this does not appear to be the case. The shuttle bus to the beach runs not five but three times a day. The animation team does not speak Dutch, while this is advertised. In addition, the team consists of only two employees who take care of all activities. Children, and especially the somewhat shy children, are hardly actively involved. The mini club also does not meet expectations. It is a small cottage with little to no toys. Play kitchens and cabinets are empty; there are only a few puzzles and a few cups with the cheapest markers. Moreover, the mini club is not staffed! That is nowhere clearly stated in the description of the hotel!!! It was only after we complained that we were told that this is indeed the case. We believe TUI should have taken responsibility for this. When a hotel does not deliver what is explicitly advertised, we expect at least appropriate compensation rather than just excuses. As a result, we have to entertain our children almost the entire holiday. That is not a problem in itself if you choose to do so, but not if you deliberately book a hotel that promises a lot of attention for children's entertainment. Because there is little to do in the immediate vicinity, we even had to rent a car to make our holiday even more fun. If we had known in advance that the children's facilities were really so limited, we would certainly have chosen another hotel. There are also positive points. The bungalows are nicely renovated, the garden is beautifully maintained with lots of flowers, palm trees and pomegranate trees and the restaurant and cleaning staff are friendly. The food is tasty, but after a few days very monotonous. The large swimming pool is pleasant, although a large part with a depth of 2.70 meters is hardly usable for many guests. The smaller pools and parts of the large pool can be cleaned better; black deposits are visible in several places. The rooms are also cleaned only superficially. After a week, the beds are still not changed. Our biggest disappointment is not so much the hotel itself, but the difference between the description of TUI and reality. Based on the information on the website, we have received expectations that have not been met. That feels misleading. For us, this is therefore a decent 3-star hotel rather than a 4-star hotel.

The Spa Essence in the hotel ist wonderful, the Owner Doxa ist very kind and friendly, I got Kreta 💆‍♂️ massage from Eliza and it was marvelous and very relaxing💕❤️💖👌thank you so much, see you soon. Laura Meyer
