Dolphin Bay Holiday Resort

We arrived at this hotel with some hesitation because most of the photos on booking websites are outdated and don't reflect its current appearance. Before our trip, however, I found information about the hotel's grand reopening after a major renovation at the end of April. The reality exceeded all of our expectations. The hotel has been beautifully renovated in a modern Mediterranean style, with elegant wooden furniture, plenty of greenery and tasteful details throughout the property. Everything feels fresh, welcoming and exceptionally well maintained. Although some renovation work was still being completed in a few areas, it was carried out so discreetly that it never disturbed our stay. The food was delicious and varied, with enough choice every day for everyone to find something they enjoyed. The themed dinner evenings were a lovely addition, and the small beach bistro was a real highlight. One day, the chef even saved some of his delicious zucchini fritters for me because he knew I would be coming back late from the beach. We ended up talking about cooking and sharing recipes, and it was one of those thoughtful gestures that made our holiday truly special. I also appreciated the layout of the resort. The children's pool with water slides is located away from the main pool and the beach, allowing guests looking for peace and relaxation to enjoy a much quieter atmosphere. In the evenings, the bar offered different entertainment almost every night, including live music and themed events. It was refreshing to see entertainment designed for adults as well, creating wonderful evenings in a relaxed atmosphere. We stayed in one of the bungalows, which had not yet been renovated, but it was still very clean, comfortable and perfectly maintained. The beach is small, clean and well looked after, with a lifeguard on duty and crystal-clear sea. If I had to mention one small drawback, it would be the very heavy gate leading to the beach. We wanted to watch the sunrise one morning, and opening it was quite difficult. That was honestly the only minor issue during our entire stay. Finally, I would like to express my sincere thanks to two exceptional members of the team. **Vladis**, the bar manager, deserves special recognition. His professionalism and leadership are reflected in his fantastic team. Every member of the bar staff was friendly, attentive and genuinely welcoming. Thanks to them, every evening had a wonderful atmosphere, and we always looked forward to spending time there. A heartfelt thank you also goes to **Maria** from the restaurant. Her kindness, warmth and genuine care for the guests were truly outstanding. When I wasn't feeling well, she immediately made sure I had everything I needed. It is people like Maria who turn a great hotel into an unforgettable holiday experience. If we have the opportunity, we would happily return. This hotel proves that beautiful surroundings are only part of a wonderful holiday—the people who work there are what make it truly special. A well-deserved **10 out of 10**. 2 couples and 2 teenagers. 1 decent adult room but the other adult room was more suitable for backpackers (2 very small separate beds not moveable), very limiting! Big disappointment for identical prices for each room. As for the food, really not recommended. Yet we are used to this kind of holiday, but here is the pompom!!!
