Marni Village

Lovely setting and apartment with own pool. Staff also friendly , helpful and nice especially reception attendants, housekeeping and gentleman helping with luggage when arriving. The apartment and pool pristine clean and looked after. There is lack of consistency at the pool bar. First experience was lovely with a lady making sure all was good despite ordering just a coffee. Second experience was the opposite, waiting for a menu , serving the worst "Greek" coffee on the island and waiting for the bill. Fortunately it doesn't spoil the general good impression however I will be avoiding their bar and restaurant.

We visited Marni as a family of 3 in June and stayed for 2 weeks in a 1 bed apartment. The apartment was near to the entrance of the complex thank god as Marni is on a hill and there is a steep walk to some apartments and the main pool. The apartment was lovely and spacious. Our only gripe was there was no air con in the living room area where my daughter was sleeping. There is a shop/ bakery right across the road and it's literally 5 mins walk into the beautiful village where there are loads of gorgeous places to eat... If you are looking for lively or somewhere with a little life then this may be a little out of the way for you. We paid for taxis into stallis but wasn't keen on it there. There is entertainment at Marni once a week which considering how many people are there is quite poor. The staff are AMAZING. Shout out to Gina and the ladies who were fabulous every day at breakfast and the pool bar. Overall this is a lovely place. Spotlessly clean and no sunbed wars. Food lovely and it's a peaceful location. Its just missing a vibe and a bit of life... I would recommend but probably wouldn't go back

Just returned from a wonderful holiday at Marni village. Loved every minute, perfect location providing you don’t have mobility issues as it’s set on a steep hill. Village of Koutoufoulari a short walk away and is beautiful with lots of lovely restaurants however food at Marni Village is also well worth a try. Looking at returning next year.
