A need for renovation is slowly becoming visible. The room did have a new bed 👍🏻, new nightstands, and also a new sofa, but still the old sliding closet, desk + chair, and there is also quite a bit of work needed in the bathroom (faucets, shower enclosure, grout). The sports offerings were great as always; unfortunately, the app for booking was a bit unstable. The food has unfortunately declined compared to the last few times (2023/24/25), a bit more monotonous, predominantly pork and chicken, nice appetizers and desserts, but always similar vegetables, side dishes, and salads. Also rather monotonous in terms of taste, by comparison. The staff are without exception friendly and accommodating, the MAGIC Angels Nina and Armin are doing a very good job, thanks for that 🙏 The treatments in the spa are not exactly cheap, but highly recommended; Eleni in particular has magical hands, truly magnificent! The show and party program has only changed slightly in the last 4 years, as has the music selection; it's a shame, I would wish for a few updates here...

We have just returned from an amazing holiday. All the staff were so friendly, cleaners, bar staff, lifeguards and the animation team were brilliant. A special. Shout out to Pavla, Hannah and Katie who were so friendly and fun even if telling me ‘more power’! The UK holiday makers were in the minority like other reviews have said but we will definitely be back!

Recently spent seven nights at the TUI Magic Life Candia Maris and the overall experience was very enjoyable. From the moment we arrived we were given a warm welcome and a porter took our cases to our room. We had a room on the ground level which was a decent size, spotlessly clean and we were very pleased to find our request to provide an iron and ironing board had been met. The room was cleaned daily and we never had any issues. We found the food to be of a high standard, always plenty of choices with meats and fish being freshly cooked and the desserts were amazing Entertainment was good especially in the party zone and there were plenty of activities going on throughout the day. Without doubt the staff were amazing, always greeting you with a smile and a pleasant welcome, a special shout out for Giannis at the pool bar, he was great and I especially enjoyed talking about football with him. I would also single out one of the lifeguards who I think was called Kit who was quick to step in and tell off a group of German lads who were being disruptive and diving into the pool despite no diving signs. It was really good to see him being very pro-active and stepping in. We also found it slightly odd that the hotel is advertised as adults only but it allows 16 year olds as it's minimum age, in my opinion 16 year olds are not adults. To summarise we had a thoroughly enjoyable holiday and would consider returning but ideally at a time of year when more Brits were there, we felt vastly outnumbered by German guests.
