Selena Hotel

We stayed here for a week in September and couldn’t fault the hotel. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Our room was spotless and had stunning views over the bay to Spinalonga. The hotel grounds and pools were all looked after very well and the food at breakfast and evening meals was good quality and value for money. There was also a good range of waterfront restaurants in Plaka and Elounda for variety. Having a car was a bonus to visit historic sites.

They staff, from receptionist to handyman were very helpful and friendly. The view from our “Superior suite” was great. The air conditioner in our room worked well. HOWEVER The hotel is very dated and over priced. We paid €185 for a superior suite with sea view . Where the “Superior” comes from is anyones guess. The bed and furniture are old, the bathroom is small with very dated decor and the bathroom sink doesn’t even have a plug. The towels are only changed once every two days the. The maid spent no more the 5-10 minutes in the room. She straightened the bed and empty the bins and that was it.

Clean hotel, great breakfast, nice pool to chill, located close to Plaka and Elounda , the staff are very nice , don't think twice before you book if you are looking for a relaxed vacation. There many nice restaurants around the hotel. You also have a natural private beach which you can enjoy.
