Sentido Pearl Beach

I was fortunate to get a free upgrade to the aegean pearl for my stay and found my overall experience to be excellent. The hotel was lovely and the room was comfortable and clean everything I needed was supplied. The service in the restaurant was also very good. The staff where very attentive and professional. I have to also say I used the spa and was very surprised as with my experience. You generally have to pay to get access to the facilities l, but there where free for the guests and the gym was well equipped. And would like to give a special thanks to the staff of the spa. Had two deep tissue massages and they where very good.

If you’re an experienced traveller, you’ll likely be shocked at the level of restaurant and service. After travelling around Greece, I am once again struck by how genuinely warm, proud and service-minded the Greek locals tend to be. Unfortunately, this hotel is a clear exception. Having a Greek salad served in a cardboard box with plastic cutlery by the pool of a hotel that bills itself as a four-star is beneath contempt. These are the details that distinguish a real four-star hotel from a much simpler accommodation. The rooms are ok and the girls working on the beach are amazing. They are friendly, professional and work hard despite the fast pace. Unfortunately, it is balanced out by the poolside restaurant staff, who are among the least service-minded staff I have met. The most remarkable thing, however, was that the person responsible, Sofia, openly bad-mouthed guests with her colleagues – loud enough for it to be heard. Such behaviour has no place in any hotel, and certainly not in one that wants to call itself a four-star. Instead of feeling welcome, you feel mostly like a distraction. It's a shame, because the hotel has potential, but the service pulls the overall experience down to a level I can't recommend.
