Fabulous views of Spinalonga and Mirabello Bay. Great hospitality and friendly welcome which is important for solo ladies. I had a lovely stay, clean room, good fresh food, pleasant company and a genuinely nice atmosphere. Plenty to do locally, the Happy Train trip and 4 Bay boat trip were great. Everything easily accessible. Steep slopes in the complex but doable and the view is worth it. Taxis easily available to Elounda that pick up and return from bar area €8 each way. Really enjoyed my holiday here and so missing that spectacular view.

Positive • The hotel has a stunning view of the sea and the panorama from most rooms. • The manager, Anna, is actually quite nice. • There is air conditioning, but it is not always free. Negative • In my opinion, the beds are a bit too hard and squeaky. • You can hear EVERYTHING, whether it's the live music from the neighboring hotel that plays into the night, or if someone above you walks through their apartment or uses the toilet; the air conditioning and refrigerator also rattle. • Most standard rooms only have 2 windows, and the bedroom is almost windowless, like a dark chamber. • There is no shampoo or shower gel, so I recommend bringing some yourself. • Cleaning is only done every 5 days; for us, it was only once in 10 days. Since it was hot and we sweated a lot, it didn't feel nice after a few days. •There are no special amenities, no hairdryer, no kettle, and only one towel along with a small piece of soap. •To reach your room, you first have to drive up a steep hill that is not really lit after halfway. •In front of the room, there are many insects like millipedes; so far, I have not discovered any in the room. •In the windowless bedroom, it is very stuffy. •The shower is almost falling apart, and the toilet seat is made of plastic. When you shower, the entire bathroom inevitably gets wet. •The pool is also not cleaned and maintained often. Conclusion •If you are light sleepers and cannot fall asleep well with loud noises, it is better not to stay here. •And if you desire nice amenities, cleanliness, and relaxation, it is better to choose another hotel nearby.

Booked a 2 week self catering holiday at the end of the season with TUI on a late deal. We really enjoyed our time there and everything about the place is superb. Great size apartment and cooking facilities if required. Superb views across the bay. Yes they are up a slight hill but surely anybody can walk this and it is this aspect that gives the views. Anna and husband are lovely and really helpful when the power went off, not their fault. Much preferred to all the 5 star resorts surrounding this place........with their 5 star prices!!
