Galaxy Hotel

Beautiful hotel in the hart of Herakleion. Staff are amazing. We were there for our honeymoon and everyone went the extra mile for us. I could see how passion they treat all the guests.

I don’t normally like staying in hotels due to noise from other rooms or loud drunk people wandering down the halls in the middle of the night. So I did have some apprehension around staying in one. Other than one night where there was some loud talking and door slamming around 1 am the rest of my 7-night stay was actually pretty quiet. The whole hotel has a calm vibe, attracting families, tour groups, and business travelers. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast buffet is incredible with many offerings. The restaurant and lounge have a varied menu with good service. I had a balcony overlooking a residential side street off the main road which was a little bit of a sound buffer (along with my white noise machine) from the road noise. The housekeeping staff were excellent! And the pool area is gorgeous. If I were to return to Heraklion I would stay here again. Good experience.

Pleasant city hotel, quick and easy to reach from airport. Nice and courteous staff, excellent breakfast. Very good value for money.
