Cretan Dream Royal Hotel

Amazing hotel made so by the people who work here. The hotel was stunning and maid service every day. The hotel staff from reception to restaurant and pool Bar staff are so friendly they cannot do enough for you and want your holiday experience to be special. We had a sea view room which was stunning the sunsets are unreal. We ate 3 times at the hotel and the food was exceptional. Pool bar snacks are also good. Breakfast was lovely there is everything you could want on offer and a lovely outdoor seating area to enjoy breakfast. Theme nights are great especially the Greek music and dancers bbq night. The staff make this hotel it was our first visit and we will definitely be returning!.

Spent 11 days at this resort with the family. Can’t praise the hotel and its staff enough, by far the best accommodation we had in Greece. The place is spotless, cleaners came in every day, the staff are all very welcoming and can’t do enough for you. Breakfast is excellent, very good selection and staff always on hand to replenish everything. Restaurant food also excellent and again, a good selection to suit every taste. All in all a great, relaxing holiday and would highly recommend it. Thank you Cretan dream resort, you are all amazing.

Stayed in a suite which had separate bedroom, living room and dining area with kitchen sink and hob decent size fridge, kettle and coffee maker. The suite although immaculate was dated and dull. The bathroom was awful, it was tiny with small doorless corner shower and the bathroom door hit the toilet as you walked in so you couldn’t open fully and when standing at the vanity area the door was virtually at your back. On a plus side the cleaning was excellent and bed linen changed everyday. We had large balcony two sets of French doors and a nice table and chair set which looked new. The public areas of the hotel are lovely there’s a great indoor shop which sells everything and is reasonably priced. There is an indoor first floor lounge and bar tastefully done . The breakfast restaurant is lovely and large and breakfast was good. Nice infinity pool and pool bar (devine food) and seating area which is really lovely and all the tables looked new. A massive let down are the sun loungers they are dilapidated and some are broken and rickety. The rooms need an overhaul and please replace your sun loungers then you’d be more like a 5 star! Staff we encountered were pleasant and helpful especially Petros and overall we did enjoy our stay. Stalos is a quiet area with a few restaurants and beach bars, Teachers is a good pub. Agia Marina( it doesn’t actually have a marina) is 5 mins on the bus loads bars restaurants shops etc and it runs into Platanias which has the same. Chania is beautiful around 20 mins on the bus outside of hotel.
