Mitsis Rinela Beach Resort Spa Hotel

Great resort! They also have a very good spa where the ladies give the best massages! and the gym is also a huge plus. The equipement and the help from the trainers was really amazing.

We found this amazing hotel in the internet and we booked it for a week with my family and kids. Bookingit was very easy. my kids had the best time there, especially in the water park! The food was really good, you could really tell that they use the best quality ingredients! They also have a la carte restaurants so you dont get bored. Overall a really great holiday i would do it all over again!

Having been to Blue Domes previously we were excited to stay at Rinela. However our experience started extremely poorly when the room we were given was nothing like what we booked. The room felt like a prison cell with metal plates up on the balcony and barely any room to sit outside as the balcony isn't big enough. The bell boy also said they had multiple complaints about this and brought his mate up to have a look too. When going down to reception there was no apology for this, simply just a 'we have a different room'. Inconvenient start particularly after arriving in the middle of the night. Our second room then had a leaking tap to which we called reception and had to then call again the following day to chase as it still wasn't fixed 2 days later. Aside from those issues, The food here alone is distant from a 5* hotel. The buffet has minimal variety every day and is sometimes cold. The al a cartes you expect to be a lot nicer but this was not the case other than the Italian. The Greek was terrible, food was bland, dry, the lamb was a bowl of fatty lamb with no sauce, and top that off with the stale bread roll you get to start. Needs some serious improvement. Steak restaurant, all customers are struggling to cut steaks that are half raw half cooked and not even a steak knife offered? The peppercorn sauce was more like a homous texture than a sauce. Served with brocolli and carrots with no flavour. The Asian a bit better, but still the al a cartes are nowhere near 5 star. The service is rushed and no attentiveness, it feels like a conveyer belt where they want you in and want you out as quickly as possible. The beach and pool are good, but you need to get to the pool by 8 to get a sunbed. The lifeguard is good at taking away towels as per the policy which was good to see. Majority of the staff are brilliant and so hard working, so credit to them, albeit I would say the pool bar staff their is often 4 or 5 of them having a chat whilst a line builds and only 1 serving. But honestly the food alone means we will not visit a mitsis chain again - disappointing!
