Basic hotel in a top position. This place has enormous potential but it appears unloved to say the least. The rooms are stuffy - that’ll be 5€ extra per night for air conditioning please. The dinner and breakfast are 15€ and 10€ respectively. A captive audience. No fridge in the room, no vegetarian options. The common area was lovely and the access to clean clear ocean water is fabulous. However a tourist expects a little more and the extra mile wasn’t achieved here.
Also the saddest puppy in town lives here, a 4 month old chained up all day on the cement, have some compassion please let this puppy enjoy life, I felt so sad for it.
Wifi only works in the common area although it stated available throughout the property.
There is an entrance to the side of the hotel, so the guests don’t disturb the management team by buzzing the front door to be opened! The managers have been there for 20 years - perhaps it’s time for a change.

very dissapointing hotel-extremely dirty, there were hair in the toilet, our room had 2 cocroaches and when we complained about that the answer was "yes during summer we have problem",impolite behaviour of the stuff.would never recommend anyone to stay not even for one day, expensive for no reason, the rooms are very old and dirty, wifi not worked at some rooms (included ours) due to some kind of a problem, they didnt fix it.

New to the UK market, this Hotel is away from the overtly tourist areas, quiet but in touch with the proper Cretan way of life and a couple of lovely, interesting towns nearby. Mainly Germans and Swiss people go as the advertising is only hitting the UK in the last couple of years, but we didn't care what nationality were there and we met some lovely people and made friends so easily. A small, cozy hotel and very clean. Home cooked food by a lovely Cretan lady and served by the most sweet, delightful young women tentative to our needs the whole time. There is a small chapel built on the top floor where you can pray or reflect on things with the stars shining down on you. Was sad to leave.
