I would only give this hotel one star because of the way we were treated. When we arrived, we paid the city tax at check-in. At the end of our stay, we checked out one day earlier than planned. After paying all the extra charges, the receptionist suddenly told us that we still had to pay the city tax, insisting that we had never paid it. Unfortunately, the hotel had not given us any receipt for the payment, nor had they registered it in their system. We asked if they could check the security camera recordings or find any other way to verify the payment. But the don’t have cameră and also claimed that the staff on duty at check-out was the same staff who had checked us in, but that was simply not true—we were checked in by a young man who wasn’t there. The whole situation was handled in an unprofessional and dishonest way. It left us with very little confidence in the hotel’s payment procedures. My advice to future guests: always ask for a receipt when you pay the city tax. Otherwise, you may be asked to pay it again at the end of your stay, and without proof of payment it becomes your word against theirs. As for the hotel itself, the restaurant was disappointing. The food selection was very limited, and the overall quality did not meet our expectations.

This is NOT a 5 STAR hotel. Service is very slow, staff of which there are not enough on site, can be quite abrupt and rude. Food and drink options are quite limited and repeated each morning and night at the very busy buffet. We got told off by a waitress for brining a bottle of water to the buffet, she said its the hotels policy for us to specifically buy water from them and them only, however lots of people were doing the same as us. The views of the sea and coastal area are lovely but apart from that, this is most definitely not a 5 star hotel. 3 star at best. Be aware at breakfast and dinner there are lots of flys buzzing around, you'd think a so called 5 star hotel would have repellents/candles burning but they didnt. The positives are the views and beach, the masseuse was fantastic and one of the waitresses (Ellie) at the pool bar was great, its just a shame her colleagues aren't like her.

Very good experience overall. Rooms are good, beach and water very nice, food is of good quality and service is of great quality. Especial congratulations and thanks to Mr. Timos. Authentic greek hospitality.
