City Marina

I am deeply distressed and incredibly disappointed by my experience at the Corfu Marina Hotel. What was supposed to be a relaxing vacation was completely ruined by unacceptable customer treatment and a severe lack of basic communication. On my second day, I explicitly requested the concierge to have my room cleaned before I stepped out. I returned hours later to find the room completely untouched. Shortly after, a housekeeper knocked. Because of the lack of professionalism, I felt compelled to lock the door and literally push my luggage against it just so I could safely put on clothes without someone barging in on me. When I opened the door, I spoke in basic, simple English. I explicitly told her: “Please take out the rubbish and make the bed. Someone is in the bathtub." Despite my clear warning, she completely ignored me or failed to understand basic English, walking straight into the bathroom anyway. The water was running and the shower curtain was closed. Instead of apologizing for invading our privacy, this woman got angry, became incredibly rude, and actively scolded me—a paying guest—demanding that I speak to the concierge on the phone. The treatment I received was intolerable. I felt harassed and deeply offended in a room I paid for. I had to go through the immense stress of explaining myself over and over again to the concierge just because their staff lacks basic comprehension and customer service etiquette. In the end, she only took out the trash and didn't even clean the room. The sheer stress of this ordeal is absolutely not worth it. This single, horrifying experience completely ruined my stay in Greece. I am checking out early to find alternative accommodation where guests are actually treated with respect. This is the first and absolute last time I will ever check into the Corfu Marina Hotel. Definitely will never be returning.

This hotel is in the perfect location. It is an easy walk to the port, a short walk to the Old Town and a short taxi ride to the airport BUT don't stay there. Not all of the rooms face the marina and the economy rooms are VERY small. No bedside tables - one side had a shelf. No room to walk around the bed and the window overlooked the backs of scruffy buildings. If you open the window you will suffer from mosquito bites as there isn't any mesh on the windows. The bathroom was small and dated - as was the whole place. Reception is dark and dreary, with the staff hiding away in a corner. A decorator was on a ladder painting the ceiling on the day we checked out! Some of the staff smoke and the smell pervaded the whole place.

Don’t stay here. Pictures are misleading, thought our room had balcony as pictured on our room details but it didn’t. Was very tiny, mouldy shower, and got eaten alive by mosquitoes! The hotel lobby is stuffy and smells stale. Stay out of Corfu town perhaps Agios Gordios seaside😘
