Paradise Hotel

Hotel is set in a lovely location with amazing views. Breakfast was lovely especially the Greek yoghurt. Plenty of choices available for breakfast. Plenty of beds around the pool. Despina really stood out as providing an excellent service. Rooms really need updating though. Bathroom especially needs an overhaul. Bathroom was especially small and the sink took most of the room which only allowed for a very narrow bath with an old shower curtain. Having said that we would return but would request an updated room. Nice restaurants in Gouvia however it needs more lively bars with live music

We stayed 5 nights total here with an additional 2 nights in Paxos. The breakfast, staff, gardens, views and pool were beyond excellent. We stayed in a refurbished sea view room. Lovely, if not a bit small but that was fine by us. Balcony excellent. Torn between the beauty of the hilltop location, gardens, staff, pool and the fact that the actual hotel although spotlessly clean had a very very old feel. It does need a full refurbishment to modernise it. But as I said there are many things that make up for it. There were times you could smell the drains at the hotel but definitely in the town of Gouvia. Gouvia itself wasn't particularly pretty. The main road down from the hotel was very busy. So do take care if you have children. We wanted peace and quiet and we certainly got that. It has so many good qualities, but is in need of a good overhaul. We paid 50 euros to have a room before our flight. I wont mention just how ancient the room was. And ive never seen such a strange set up in the bathroom. I honestly hope these rooms are not sold to the public. We had a good experience over all. Corfu is great. We probably wont return as there are other islands we've enjoyed much better in the past. Totally torn about this so make of it what you will.

A great hotel for a calming and peaceful holiday. We had booked a garden view suite and were upgraded to the sea view upon arrival, we arrived at around 13:00 and the room was already available which was a great bonus. The room and communal areas are very clean with excellent housekeeping staff cleaning the rooms, pool area, sunbeds and restaurant regularly. Despite it being a smaller hotel we never had any issues with sunbed availability and there was no problem with people reserving beds. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, with a special mention to the lady with curly hair working in the restaurant area who went above and beyond. Food options at the lunch restaurant were good and value for moeny (8€ for large omelette and chips, €10 for large pizza). The pool bar was a highlight of the trip whete we had fresh smoothies and coffees most days. The hotel is situated on a large hill which may be an issue for families or reduced mobility but this wasn’t a problem for us and the hill gave the hotel incredible views over the mountains. We had a great stay overall and couldn’t find fault!
