La Cite

Just returned from a week at La Cite and would happily get on the next plane back! The hotel is in a great location, close to all the restaurants and shops but still situated in a peaceful location. The room was spacious enough, everything we needed for our stay and the bathroom was an adequate size, great pressure in the shower. Breakfast had enough choice, always able to have a good breakfast and was well organised. The pool was great, pool was quite deep, 2.8m at the deepest part and this was well appreciated on the warm days. The garden areas are very well maintained, everything neat and tidy and a very peaceful and relaxing space. The best part of this hotel are the very friendly and helpful staff, they really do go out of their way to make your holiday enjoyable. I wouldn't hesitate to return to La Cite and would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday.

Great hotel, some would say dated, I would say more 1980s traditional Greek style hotel with fantastic hospitality. Hotel and gardens kept immaculately clean. La Cite exudes a relaxing atmosphere and quite a lot of the guests return to this hotel year after year. It is only a 3 minute walk straight to the main square in Lixouri and a further 2 minutes to the terminal to catch one of the regular ferries to Argostoli . Janetta and Thekla want you to feel like part of their family and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you for a wonderful holiday. Steve & Jackie

Just spent 11 nights at La Cite. Fabulous location, nice family feel hotel for a relaxing adults only break. Hotel a little bit tired, but staff make it exceptionally special. Very clean, good pool and gardens, never a problem to find a sunbed and somewhere quiet to relax. Janetta and Thelaka welcomed us into this lovely little hotel and we left feeling part of the La Cite family. Very sad to leave this morning, but we will be back.....xx
