Lygies Studios

The studios a very clean, but the property is in desperate need of maintenance. The photos on the Tui app/website are years out of date.

We stayed at Lygies for four nights and, fortunately, we’d done our research beforehand, unlike some reviewers. If you’re staying here, I’d definitely recommend hiring a car, but that’s the best way to explore the island anyway. We were hardly in the apartment as we spent most of our time out exploring, and we didn’t use the pool. All we wanted was a comfortable bed and an affordable base, and that’s exactly what we got. Yes, the apartment is very basic, and there were a few minor issues. Our kitchen light didn’t work, we had a few ants in the room, and some fixtures and fittings could do with being replaced. However, we knew exactly what we were booking, and for the price we paid, we really couldn’t complain. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, the balcony was a great size, and we had a lovely view. We normally stay in 4 or 5-star hotels, so we were a little apprehensive about booking such a last-minute budget break, but we genuinely had a lovely stay. We’d happily return. As long as you arrive with realistic expectations, Lygies offers great value for money.
