Waterside Apartments

Disappointment, because we expected a Service comparable to those we know in Greece. Here no reception or staff on site during the day. It looks like Airbnb where the only difference is that cleaning is done every morning (in theory because forget one morning). Sheets were never replaced during the stay (5 nights in the accommodation). A sign indicates that at least they are replaced every 4 days.... We knew we had not seen sea but not that the view from our side is a cinder block wall. The sound of early morning trucks passing 5 meters from you do not invite you to eat on the terrace. Bathroom very small and without window. Access to the sea in front of the hotel is difficult because the ramp is dismantled

It was the best accommodation of our stay in Kefalonia and, dare I say it, as a b&b, the best of all 11 times in Greece. The location is ideal: 200 MT from the center between the road and the sea. . We stayed on the ground floor. Large room with kitchenette and modern bathroom ..all comfortable. Window and front door overlooking a large terrace that houses several sitting rooms with private access to the sea. (We also had a private one) View of the bay and port of Agia Efemia , a charm both in the morning and in the evening with the lights reflecting on the water .. The owner ,Tonia friendly and helpful as well as the people in charge of services. Already we miss it!!

If you are looking to spend some time in a quiet location, perfectly located for accessing all of this wonderful island then Agia Efimia is definitely the place to go for. And once you've settled on a location, book a stay at Waterside Apartments. Ideally located on the edge of the village, the apartment we stayed in was wonderful. You also have access to calm and peaceful gardens and steps directly down to the sea if you want to cool off, swim or snorkel.
