Eleana

First visit here and I don't think it will be the last. Well priced and friendly staff make this the perfect place to have a relaxing time. It is a small hotel and has a very friendly feel to it. I would stay here instead of Lefkada as it is well worth the short trip to Nikiana. Breakfast good, staff great and rooms all you need.

Just back from 7 days at Hotel Eleana, the location is good for the resort, a couple of minutes walk from the hotel and your at the hub of the resort. It's only a 40 minute transfer from the airport, which is a brilliant wee place. The Hotel itself is nice with a decent size swimming pool, it has a pool bar , but drinks and ice cream only if you want hot snacks you had to pop out to a local cafe. The breakfast was average, most people will find something they like. The room that we had 117 was beautiful it was spacious and had everything you needed and the cleaners worked so hard to keep it spotless. There are a couple of things that could be improved on. If you have a late check out and you can't keep your room on because the hotel was full (it wasn't) your option for showering is the communal WC downstairs in the basement, it has a locked door but very basic. We also felt the Hotel lacked a little personal touch, not the greatest interaction from the owners. There is significant building work on both sides of the hotel which can be extremely noisy with drills, grinder's and hammering going on with lorries up and down the road. Overall I really enjoyed this Hotel /Apartments I really feel for the owners as they can't control what's going on outside their property. If you want really nice accommodation in a lovely wee village ( Nikiana) I recommend this place

Just returned from our holiday, this was the first time stay for us at this hotel, I can not recommend this hotel enough, all the staff are so helpful, the room was amazing, cleaned everyday day by a wonderful lady, breakfast had various choices, the location is ideal, the beach is a short walk away, plenty of restaurants within a short walk as well as minimarkets. I have already booked for next year and I am counting down.
