Aloha - Agios Gordio -Corfu-Greece

We have just had a gorgeous week in the Agios Beach Resort, it is the most amazing spot you can literally hear the sea from your bed (if you are at the front) we had a basic room as we didn’t intend to cook in and as the days are so long there we were on the beach from 10am - 6pm. It is so clean and there are always cleaners around constantly sweeping the communal areas. Vivienne was very cheerful and helpful throughout our stay, recommending places to eat, visit, bus timetables, taxis. This is not a hotel it is a serviced apartment so don’t expect bars and restaurants on site, there are enough of them within a short walk!! We loved it and will go back next year!!

Just came back from a fabulous week here. My husband and I booked a two bedroom apartment for us and our friends. It was spotlessly clean and the location couldn’t have been more perfect right on the beach close to all the shops and restaurants. Best of all it has free parking. Vivian couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. The room was cleaned every day and we had fresh towels they even provide towels for the plunge pool. There are showers at the bottom of the steps going up to the apartment so you don’t have to shed sand everywhere - you just shower it off! Only one negative - we were charged a transaction charge when we paid by card but only saw that on our return to the UK.

I booked these apartments for myself and my daughter as a birthday trip, and the experience has been extremely disappointing. What was not made clear before booking was that it would cost an additional €100 just to travel to and from the property, making the location highly inconvenient and far more expensive than expected. After discovering this, I immediately requested a cancellation. Instead of responding professionally, they charged my card without my permission. The booking originally stated that payment would be made in cash on arrival, so there was absolutely no authorization for them to take money from my card. Very poor customer service and extremely concerning payment practices. Also, this is not actually a hotel as advertised — they are apartments. I would strongly advise others to be cautious before booking here.
