Christakis Hotel

Just back from christakis. Lovelyhotel, spacious clean room, more modern than expected, I was pleasantly surprised. Pool lovely, although couldn't always get a lounger, people seem to put their towels on them then disappear. Snacks nice at the pool bar, staff lovely. Only a short walk to the beach and bars, great restaurants right outside the hotel. Only one negative was the complimentary 'shower room' as I had a late check out, it wasn't fit for purpose.

Lovely hotel, at a great price. The pool area is lovely and clean, though could do with some more loungers. That said most days we have managed to get one, and it gets quieter later in the day which is perfect as it is still so very warm! Great location as it is near everything but quiet. Food is really good quality- great breakfasts, sandwiches, pizza, baguettes, and the best homemade chips. We have been in rooms in both blocks and all rooms great. Block at back is newer and quieter with more hot water but one at front faces the road and pool so good for people watching. We booked directly with hotel and got great price, didn’t even need to pay a deposit but did need to pay cash on arrival as card machine wasn’t working.

First time staying at Christakis hotel, stayed a few times in Sidari and will definitely return. I requested high floor and got it. Loved how spacious our apartment was even though it was dated it was clean. Our older kids joined us for 5 days and the hotel even met my request to be next to one another 👍. Location was perfect close to some really good restaurants, 5 minutes to The Canal de Amour and 5 to the strip. Pool was nice but could do with more loungers. The ovens were off at the beginning of our stay at the pool restaurant. When we did eventually have breakfast we have to say it was the best breakfast we’d tried and very reasonable. The barmen was very friendly and attentive, along with the manager. We will definitely return 👍
