Koursaros Apartments

We stayed here for 4 days and 3 nights with my sister. We arrived as part of a group, but my sister had already booked the first few days in a hotel, so from our planned 10-day holiday we only spent 3 nights in this apartment. Luckily. When we arrived, an elderly man welcomed us. His first comment was that he had been waiting for us for 3-4 days. At first I thought he was joking, but unfortunately that was only the beginning. Our first room was on the first floor. It was small, smelled damp, and looked more like an old war bunker than a holiday apartment. The furniture was old and damaged, the walls were peeling, and the bathroom had mould. There was also no internet. When we told them about the Wi-Fi problem, they were clearly unhappy, but after we insisted, they moved us to a ground floor room. It was much cooler, which was important because it was 35°C outside and they wanted to charge €8 per day for air conditioning. The second room also had no internet. We asked the elderly man again, who seemed more interested in lying on his sunbed than helping guests. After insisting again, we explained that Wi-Fi was included in the accommodation, so we expected a room where it actually worked. His answer was: "Why do you need internet for 3 days? Clear your head and enjoy your holiday." I found this comment rude and completely unnecessary. Finally, our third room had working Wi-Fi, but the conditions were still poor. The toilet smelled bad, the pipes made loud knocking noises every time someone used the shower, and there were mosquitoes everywhere because there were no mosquito screens. We had to choose between sleeping in a hot room with the windows closed or opening them and letting mosquitoes, bugs and even spiders inside. During our stay, housekeeping never changed our towels or made our beds, even though they cleaned the rooms of other guests staying there. On the day we checked out, the same elderly man made more unnecessary comments. He told us to smile because he knew we had a problem with him, but we should smile anyway. Again, this was rude and completely unprofessional. People go on holiday to relax, not to listen to sarcastic comments from someone who clearly doesn't care about the guests. This place is old, neglected and poorly maintained. It is obvious that no money is spent on improvements, only on making profit. The customer service was disappointing, and the attitude of the staff made the experience even worse. I would never stay here again and cannot recommend this place.

This place has a Greek rustic charm, its budget and yes the rooms are basic, but they have all you need. The reviews saying avoid are simply people who expected 5 star when this is clearly a basic accomodation. The hotel staff are fab, the bar is brill and the hotel has a lovely clean pool, pool table and resident kittys! If you love greece and want a chilled holiday, book this place. If you want high standards and entertainment then dont! Simples!

Our party of 6 choose this hotel after my brother stayed here in 2022 whilst we stayed in a neighbouring hotel. The hotel has a greek BBQ night, a relaxing poolside bar and pool table. Our highlight was the hotels resident cat and her kittens who we loved and adored. The hotel grounds have a mediterranean semi rural charm and feel about them and found the hotel and rooms had a quaint charm. For a small budget this hotel is ideal and centrally located between the strip and Canal Damour area. Ignore the petty mean reviews.
