Great place, great staff! Corfu is beautiful.

We absolutely loved our stay here, after reading some negative reviews we didn’t know what to expect but we absolutely adored the hotel and had an unforgettable holiday. The beach was a highlight for us, plenty of sunbeds although people did leave their towels down for lengthy times without returning, there was plenty of space. Close to the bar and food places too. The water is shallow and calm, and was perfect for swimming and playing around in. We paid to use the pedlo at the beach too, the other water sports equipment was pricey The hotel itself was lovely, staff were helpful and we loved how it was set out. Lots of bars, lovely decor and great rooms. The gym on site is great too and well equipped. The food was amazing! We loved the pizza and pasta bar by the beach especially. The dinner buffet was good too, lots of options but the pizza and pasta bars were standout. We loved the icecream and crepe shop too. There was often queues for these places but it is well worth the wait. We also loved the range of cocktails provided at the bars. Also, book the blue lagoon trip!!!! Incredible experience, amazing waters and boat rides and swimming with hundreds of fish!! Overall, we throughly enjoyed our stay, had so so so much fun. We loved our time here and highly recommend to anyone

I stayed at Canvas by Mitsis Messonghi for eight nights, and one of the main things that stood out was how pleasant and friendly the staff were. From the room maintenance ladies and receptionists to the waiters, janitors and bartenders, everyone was welcoming, polite and hard-working. There was a great choice of food available, although I found much of the main buffet food quite bland and simple, with very little variation from one day to the next. However, the creperie and gelato bar were superb. The crepes were made fresh and were genuinely to die for. I definitely ate my fair share of banana and Nutella crepes, with my personal record being five in one day! Unfortunately, I did not get to try the pizza bar because of the queuing, which brings me to the resort’s biggest issue. Although the bartenders and other staff worked as quickly as they could, the queues were quite shocking. Almost anywhere you wanted to go or any service you wanted to use involved waiting between 15 and 30 minutes, regardless of the time of day. When standing in 32-degree heat, this often resulted in us giving up on trying certain foods or activities because we did not want to queue for half an hour. The activities and evening performances were enjoyable, and the small shops inside the hotel were very useful, stocking all the essentials and more. Car parking was another major positive. We had a rental car, and the hotel’s car park was massive, with an abundance of available spaces. It was also monitored by a security guard in a booth 24/7, which gave us complete peace of mind. My only advice would be to avoid parking underneath the large tree in the middle unless you want your car to be showered in bird droppings! The final negative was the Wi-Fi. It worked well in the main reception area, but inside the rooms, where it was needed most, it was practically unusable. I needed to contact work and remain online during parts of my stay, so this was frustrating. I had an unlimited data eSIM, but after using my daily 3GB of high-speed data, the connection was capped at 1Mbps and became unusable. I was therefore relying on the hotel Wi-Fi to help, but unfortunately it did not. Overall, this is a great all-inclusive resort for families. The staff are without question its strongest feature, followed closely by the excellent crepe and gelato bar. The main drawbacks are the excessive queues and poor Wi-Fi in the rooms, but despite these issues, I would definitely recommend it to families looking for an enjoyable all-inclusive getaway.
