Ai Yannis Suites & Apartments

We stayed here a few years ago. It was the worst hotel experience in my life. Tthe owner/manager of the hotel is a terrible and rude person. The mosquito net of the room we stayed in was worn out and dysfunctional, and we expressed this to the hotel owner. He said he would check. The next day, he asked us in a very rude and high tone, what did you do to the mosquito net, where is it! His English was also very bad, he kept repeating the same question when we answered how can we know it. He tried to blame us as if we had broken it, I think he intended to charge us for the repair of something that was already broken and torn! He never hesitated to shout at us in front of other hotel guests, moreover, we had our 1-year-old baby in our arms. Even though the hotel staff were there, I guess they couldn't say anything because of their fear. He was always yelling at them in front of the guests anyway. On the day of check out they had prepared a gift for us to supposedly apologize, but no gift can compensate for this behavior. Although several years have passed, I cannot forget this bad experience. In addition to all these, the hotel was also very neglected and very poorly cleaned. The number of employees was insufficient. The breakfast was stale. It felt like an abandoned hotel. I never recommend.

Excellent hotel and suites, very good prices, very good food and polite personnel. the rooms are big, the balconies look at the sea and the village(kardamyla). Visited in July of 2021 and 2022 too. I spent 4 days there.

I spent Easter in the small village of Kardamila, visiting friends. My family and I stayed at the Ai Yanis suites and Apartments, on the fringes, overlooking the village. The facility is well maintained, run by a close knit family who take in guests with great care, eager to provide all the necessary amenities that will make their stay comfortable. The rooms are spacious and clean, the layout of the complex has been well thought out so that it provides both privacy and a sense of community, and it is within walking distance from the sea and the village while at the same time has the serenity and quiet atmosphere of a facility in the middle of the country side. While the breakfast is not rich, the products are fresh and tasty and the staff is always eager to attend to any additional needs that visitors may have. I would recommend it for its authenticity, as the family that runs the facility is from the village of Kardamilla and share in its sea faring history.
