Aeolian Gaea

What a wonderful hidden treasure this hotel is. We have recently returned from our first stay here, and our first stay in Lesvos. The hotel was perfect in every way, peaceful and authentic. Plenty of choice for breakfast, something to suit everyone. Great choice on the lunch menu if you choose to stay at the hotel for lunch. Lunch in only served until 2.15pm and if you arrive after that you can't get anything to eat unless you leave the hotel. The room we had was very spacious, light with plenty of windows, and airy. All mozzie nets were intact so could leave the doors and windows open. The setting was so peaceful. The pool is quite big and lovely and clean. Plenty of sunbeds, and the best bit is there's no sunbed wars! You can get a sunbed at any time. The walk in to the village takes about 10-15 mins steady walk. The hosts are lovely, and I feel sure we will be back.

Excellent service, helpful and friendly personnel, good quality for money, good breakfast. I highly recommend this place, especially for families. Rooms are enormous, the pool is very clean and nice. Also, I enjoyed the silence

An absolutely delightful experience from start to finish! George and his family (including George Senior) made us feel truly welcome, and could not do enough for us. We had a very large, airy double room with a lovely verandah, complete with beautiful views over the surrounding countryside. The hotel is in a peaceful location, but only a five minute walk into Skala Kallonis. Breakfast was amazing; a great selection of offerings, always with one or two local dishes to try (not to forget olives prepared by George's mother - delicious!) I cannot recommend Aeolian Gaea highly enough!
