Samaina Inn Hotel

Not for us anymore. But that may be more down to our expectations. The rooms are clean but old. The service from the staff is top notch. They are super friendly and ready for you 24/7. The food was very disappointing. Little choice and much the same. The pool does not open until 10 am and closes again at 6 pm. There are really poles with chains put in front of them. Although there are tickets on all umbrellas that seats may not be reserved, they do. To get to the beach you only have to cross the road. The beach is beautiful. There is a part of grass which is very pleasant. There are also showers. It is a small-scale hotel on a busy road. There is not much to do in the area. There is little entertainment in the hotel itself. Live music 3 times a week but that's it.

We had a really lovely week at Samaina Inn and can warmly recommend the hotel. From the first day we felt well taken care of. The staff is the hotel’s greatest asset – always smiling, friendly, helpful and genuinely committed to ensuring guests enjoy themselves. The service is of a very high standard and creates a familiar and relaxed atmosphere. The hotel is well maintained with nice, clean rooms that are thoroughly cleaned every day. The pool area is nice and the whole facility gives a very well-groomed impression. The food is delicious and varied. It may not be the most exclusive we’ve experienced, but it’s of great quality and works great for a week’s all-inclusive holiday. Karlovassi is a quiet and genuine part of Samos, perfect for those who want to relax and enjoy the Greek atmosphere. Here you will find beautiful surroundings, pleasant walks and a pleasant pace far from the most touristy resorts. For us, the combination of Samaina Inn and Karlovassi was a perfect holiday, and we will gladly return.

Lovely hotel. The beach is over the road which is quite busy and we had a seafront room. Not worth the extra money due to the noise. Rooms facing the pool were lovely. Staff were great but while the selection of food was good, the "hot" food wasn't unless it had literally just been put out. We don't drive abroad and had hoped for a good bus service but it was very poor. So for us, we were just at the hotel. Nice restaurant directly over the road and nice cafes and restaurants at the port. Walked to Potami beach to see the waterfalls but you have to swim round to see them so couldn't do that. Not the best location unless you hire a car.
