Arty Grand Hotel

Had an amazing stay at the Arty Grand Hotel in Ancient Olympia. The hotel has a beautiful atmosphere, spacious and comfortable rooms, and a great location with wonderful views. The staff was welcoming, professional, and always ready to help, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. The absolute highlight of my stay was the spa experience. The spa area is truly exceptional and creates the perfect environment for relaxation and wellness. The heated indoor pool, sauna, hammam, and jacuzzi made the experience feel luxurious and unforgettable. Everything was clean, peaceful, and very well organized. The spa alone is a reason to come back to this hotel — it adds a completely different level of comfort and relaxation to the stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ancient Olympia and looking for a place that combines comfort, quality service, and an outstanding spa experience.

For a 5 star hotel and with the payment of the tourist tax of 15€, it has several shortcomings. Let's start with the total absence of gadget accessories (toothbrush, slippers etc). I also found a stained sheet, a woman’s hair removal razor blade on the shower soap dish and a shower cubicle door almost came on me because it was unstable. The kitchen's not much.

As part of a grand tour FRAM tour of Greece, we spent one night in this hotel. It was unexpected to sleep in a 5* hotel when we had to sleep in a 3* hotel. This hotel is located right next to the ancient site of Olympia and we were able to enjoy the beautiful outdoor pool upon arrival. There is also a beautiful indoor pool in the SPA. Towels are available free of charge at the reception. Our room was clean and comfortable, bathroom with bathtub, hygiene products (shower gel, shampoo, cream), magnifying mirror, fridge filled with drinks and in case (fees apply), TV (France 24 and TV5 world), safe and a large bed very comfortable. There are two kinds of pillows, a farm and a softer one. We dined in buffet style at this hotel and enjoyed soup, vegetables, feta, tatziki (excellent), potatoes (excellent), moussaka (delicious) and a delicious watermelon. Breakfast was paradoxically worse than dinner but there was plenty of lunch to start the day: savory (eggs, bacon, cheese...) and sweet. A nice stop on our circuit.
