We stayed at Glaronisia Hotel for 3 nights as part of an island-hopping trip, and it has quickly become one of our favourite places we’ve stayed.
The hotel is ideally located, around a 10-minute walk to both a small, beautiful beach and the charming town of Pollonia, where you’ll find a fantastic selection of restaurants and bars. It’s the perfect balance of being close to everything while still feeling peaceful and relaxed.
The rooms are absolutely beautiful, tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. Ours had everything we needed, including a fridge and kettle, and felt like a real home away from home. After busy days exploring the island, it was lovely to return to such a calm and welcoming space.
The breakfast each morning was excellent, with a generous and delicious selection of breads, fruits, cereals, and cakes, perfect for a light start to the day. The breakfast area itself is also very pleasant and adds to the overall relaxed feel of the hotel.
The pool area is another highlight, very well maintained, peaceful, and never overcrowded during our stay. It was the perfect spot to unwind with a refreshing dip after exploring.
What really made our stay special, however, was Kostas and his team! They are truly wonderful hosts, warm, friendly, and always on hand with helpful advice and recommendations. Nothing was too much trouble, and their hospitality really elevated the whole experience.
Milos itself completely stole our hearts. We hired ATVs to explore the island, which we’d highly recommend, highlights included the stunning Fyriplaka Beach and Sarakiniko (White Stones Beach), with its surreal white rock formations creating an almost lunar landscape. A visit to Plaka is also a must, with its maze of whitewashed streets, blue shutters, and vibrant bougainvillea, perfect for a relaxed wander.
We also enjoyed some fantastic food locally, Rifaki (run by Kostas’ brother) and Alkis were both excellent choices. A wine tour at Kostantakis Winery was another memorable experience.
Overall, Glaronisia Hotel is a truly special place, beautiful, welcoming, and perfectly located. Milos has definitely kept a piece of our heart, and when we return, we wouldn’t stay anywhere else.
Thank you, Kostas and your wonderful team, for such a memorable stay! 💙

We stayed here with friends for 4 nights recently and would definitely recommend and return if on the island. Milos was a beautiful island, but beware taxi prices are high. If I were to go again, I would certainly try and use the buses.
Everything about this hotel was perfect. The owner and his staff made us feel extremely welcome, and it was lovely to see his family around the pool. Our room looked like it had recently had a refurb and was spotlessly clean. Towels were changed every day, and the room was cleaned daily.
The breakfast at the hotel was simple but plentiful. Hot and cold food to choose from with a variety of eggs, toasts, cereals, and pastries. Fresh orange juice and tea and coffee. The hotel pool area was clean, and the pool was a nice size. We were offered umbrellas if we had wanted them. They also provided pool towels to use.
The 10 minute walk into the harbour area/beach was downhill along a road, but it wasn't overly busy. There were a few restaurants and a couple of supermarkets. A lovely cafe selling gorgeous produce and cakes. We couldn't fault any of the restaurants we ate in.
We had an evening in Plaka (the capital) watching the sunset, which was worth the 40 euro taxi fare each way. (Would get the bus next time!) Milos has definitely won a place in our hearts and we will return.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights as part of an island hopping holiday and it is now one of our favourite!
The hotel is around 10 minutes walk from a small beach and the town of Pollonia where there are several lovely restaurants and bars.
The rooms are beautiful - tastefully decorated and furnished and perfect for our needs.
There is a lovely breakfast area that serves a range of breads, fruits, cereals and cakes that are perfect for a light breakfast each day.
The pool area is very well kept and was so quiet during our stay. Beds were comfortable, though not an abundance of them.
Kostas and his staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for us and we would recommend this hotel and would most certainly stay again if we visit Milos again.
