Studios Rea Sun

A great experience at rea sun. We had a room with a kitchenette on the first floor with a small table on the balcony for eating, a double bed and a fairly large shower. The room was redone every day, with a towel change and there was already dishwashing detergent, a sponge and toilet paper. (Recommend bringing two placemats as the tablecloth is not present). The room was very bright and close to all the most useful services (beach 200 meters, small market 100 meters with the possibility of taking lunch to be consumed on the beach for a few euros and cafeteria where they make a good Italian coffee always nearby). The center with clubs and shops is 500 meters, while the port with the departure of buses to other beaches 1 km. The Owner was always helpful. The sea and the beach are very beautiful. There are both equipped beaches and a large free beach. Even if there is wind the right side is well sheltered. If when you arrive the Owner is not at the property just call him and in two minutes he shows up for check in. We also tried the laundry service. That's good. With 12 euros a lot of things are washed and dried which are then stored folded in the room. Absolutely to repeat!

The location of the hotel is amazing. It's just 2 minutes from the main beach of Naxos, there are shops around and it's just 5-10 minutes walking from the centre of Naxos town where all tavernas, bars etc are. I was really impressed by the staff, they were some of the friendliest people I have met! They were very talkative, gave us some tips, provided me with an iron when I needed and were overall very helpful. They also gave us sun umbrellas for free to use when we go to the beach and we just had to return them after. The place was really cheap and I think it was definitely worth the money! Yes, it needs a little bit of renovation, we had some problems with flushing the toilet, but it was clean, it had a small kitchen with some good kitchenware and a good size room. So I was more happy with that for the price we paid. And as I said, the staff made our experience even better! Will visit again for sure

Pros: close to Naxos town centre (12 min walk) and temple of Apollo, air conditioning, nice owner (dropped us to the port), buzzer for reception so you can contact owner whenever, close to cafes and restaurants, wifi, close to the beach Cons: no front desk so you have to inform the owner when arriving so he can give you the key, no furniture except beds and a dresser (patio furniture was inside as well), shower made bathroom wet because there was no divide between the shower and bathroom floor, only hand towels were given (no bath towels), no bathroom supplies (ex. bath soap), very uncomfortable beds and pillows, we were on the basement floor so many people could stare into our studio, limited outlets on the walls
