Kalydna Island

10 days spent at this hotel with family. On the most part the holiday was perfect. The rooms and pool were very clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Great central location and the food on Kalymnos is incredible everywhere. The entire island is a calm, traditional, authentic greek paradise. However, if booking with Jet2, be aware that you may not be put into a modernised room as depicted in the advertising images. The room we were given was not what we were expecting. Of course there will be deviations from the rooms advertised however we were given a room that had no resembling features of the advertised rooms. The hotel was adament on keeping us happy and agreed to move us to a modernised room after a few days. This upset of course was not the fault of the hotel but it's important to note that the room you receive may look completely different from what you would expect when booking.

Just come back from a wonderful, peacful 10 days at Kalydna Island Hotel. It would've been 5 dots if the air-con had been a little more effective....Aside from the small issue about the air-con, everything else was perfect. Dated but sparkling clean room (I think some of the rooms have been modernised), good bathroom (this had been updated), lovely pool area (only used this in the afternoons and on departure day, no issue with loungers). Breakfast adequate, exactly what we expected from a 3* in Greece. The lovely ladies on reception were super friendly, helpful and full of advice and great recommendations regarding restaurants and car hire. Thanks for a wonderful holiday 😊

We loved it! Cozy and elegant, so close to the bus stop, to the beach, restaurants and mini market!
