Venezia Hotel

Arrival was excellent, we arrived about 11pm and check in was smooth, reception was clean, the staff were very welcoming. He even walked us to the bar and told them to give us a welcome drink even though the All Inc cut off time had passed. Our room was a standard room, the view was towards the bay and the sea, the room facilities were more than adequate, the air conditioning was so good we had to turn if off overnight The staff here were AMAZING, They work so so hard, the cleaners, the bar staff and especially the main restaurant staff, always happy, always polite. The pools were large, there was never a fight for sunbeds, they were always available. The water temperature was perfect. The location was great, only €10 to Faliraki centre. Biggest thumbs up goes to the adults only pool and bar, what an amazing, beautiful little retreat, albeit unecesarily loud music, gentle, serene music would be super nice. Thumbs down, why oh why do the pools close at 6pm, what a let down, this is far far too early, and really impacts people's day when the sun is still up for another 2 hours. Anyway staying here please do make the effort to walk up to the amazing white chapel, a man is still painting the incredible interior, all by hand. But overall, thank you Venezia, we had a fantastic stay. Oh nearly forget, your reception staff are super helpful, always polite and smiling, they deserve recognition X

My partner and I had a wonderful stay and we would definitely visit again. Perfect location, very peaceful and out the way of the hustle and bustle but only a 30 minute walk into Faliraki to the beach. The entertainment team were great fun and full of energy, we loved joining in. The room was smaller than expected but the balcony was a good size. We were extremely happy with the cleanliness of the room as well as the entirety of the hotel. The staff were constantly keeping on top of any mess or spillages on the floor, putting any rubbish in the bin and collecting drinks around the pool. A special mention to Maria and Alteo who were so lovely to talk to and always accommodating our needs. The reception staff were very helpful and welcoming and the 24 hour shop and service they provided was very much appreciated! We particularly loved our day spent at the Marrakech Oasis for the pool party they hosted. The DJ was amazing!! The food was of a good standard at the buffet and the staff in the restaurant made sure to clear any empty plates almost straight away. We would highly recommend, this is somewhere for all types of people, families, friends and couple too. Thank you for making our stay memorable!

To venezia resort with 2 small children (1 and 3 years). First the disadvantages: I would not recommend this resort with young children as the food supply is minimal. In addition, the children's swimming pool downstairs is not open until 11:00 and also the playground. You can only use the playground between 11 am and 5 pm, this is not convenient at all with 2 young children. There is nothing else for these young children to do. However credits to animation girl, she was very sweet! Is drawn on Sunday and open from 3 pm. Not exactly ideal either. So no child-friendly resort, not recommended with young children. Older kids would be fine. Also credits to the 2 lifeguards at the children's pool! Were very alert and sweet to the children. In the restaurant work Indian people, are friendly but you do notice that it is 'more made' than the Greek staff. Then even a bigger focus for the resort is the reception. On arrival and the first days they were very accessible and friendly. But our daughter had chickenpox which forced her to quarantine for 3 days. Fine, we'll adjust. But the reception has not thought about us and the impact it has made on us as a family and on our daughter. We had to chase our own food how this was going in the room. In addition, a girl of almost 2 who is not allowed to leave the room, give some toys or give the parents some attention and check in more often how it is going. There was little compassion from reception unfortunately! They did act very spastic as if she had a strange disease when she 'just' has chickenpox. Where the room was not allowed to be cleaned and our daughter was not even allowed to be in the outdoor area, just run or walk. I hope the resort learns from this quarantine case, more compassion and thinking along with the child and the family/parents. Further food was okay. The only thing, dinner didn't start until 6.30pm, which is late with children. Hardly any fresh fruit! Very unfortunate.. we did enjoy the pita souvlaki and the scoop ice cream. I hope the resort does something with the reaction and that they learn from it.. No resort for young children, more for couples or older children.
