Kordistos Beach Hotel is next to a lovely beach. The resort and hotel is far too quiet. Breakfast isnt upto much not much of a choice to pick from. Bedrooms and bathroom far too small. The shower is tiny you are getting showered right next to the toilet. Me and my daughter came back one night the safe was left open. I know I didnt leave it open as I am very careful regarding this like this. When I checked it I had money missing. I contacted the rep still waiting to hear back. I have been here a week only saw someone on reception 3 times. When I saw someone on the reception the 3rd time I told her about my complaint only came to them now as I was waiting for the rep to get in contact. When I told the receptionist regarding the money missing she said oh this is serious. She contacted the manager by phone. I explained everything to her. She wasnt interested what I had to say and tried to blame me for my money going missing she thinks its acceptable for money going missing. I wouldn't be coming back here.

Another fabulous holiday at family run Kordistos Hotel, our second visit. We had two good rooms this time as our son came with us, on opposite sides of the hotel, we had a great dual end side sea view from ours of the sea & Kastri island and our son also loved his back side sea & Mountain View room which also had some baby sparrows nesting & fledging on his balcony planter which was nice to watch & an keep an eye on, albeit a little noisy!! We really enjoy the hotel’s ambience & location in the Kampos area of Kefalos, we personally love the breakfast, lots of choice with some nice Greek savoury & sweet menu items added each morning, and eating outside in their covered dining area is just a wonderful way to start the day. The hotel is right by the beach which we love as we are sea swimmers more than pool people and they have their own set of sun beds that you pay extra for. A pool bar operates during the day until 7pm, there is no bar open in the hotel after this time so something you should be aware of, it did not personally bother us & the hotel is peaceful and quiet. Air conditioning & safe, Wi-Fi are inclusive in the price of this hotel which is classified as a 3 star and the rooms are simple, bright & basic but have all you need, and are cleaned daily. There is parking outside the hotel and a couple of hire car companies are located within easy reach of the hotel - Kastri & Anna’s car hire. We use Anna’s. Kos is easy to drive around and thoroughly recommend hiring a car to see more of the island, but if you prefer not to drive then ZTours do excellent trips and are based in Kefalos and you can book online easily. Two supermarkets are also close by - Oasis is diagonally opposite and Jim’s is a bit further up the road as you start to go out of Kefalos. Plenty of good restaurants & tavernas in the immediate area, Kastri and Antonio’s are either side of Kordistos hotel which we regularly go to, Hippocrates & Allotina across the road, we also visited Kompologaki, Captain Johns, Limani, Argo this time and also noticed that a few businesses have moved Opa Opa cocktail bar & Mr Gelato ice cream parlour, and new ones have sprung up such as M&M games and music bar, Seaside Souvlaki restaurant which are a short walk away, so I am glad to see some new changes which is good news for Kefalos and visitors. Many thanks to the lovely family & staff that run Kordistos - Efrosini, Joanna, Giorgios etc we wish you a wonderful summer season and will definitely return in the future.
