Palazzo del Mare

I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the entire team at TUI Blue Palazzo del Mar. A special thank you goes to the restaurant manager, Ms. Despoina. She is extremely dedicated, dynamic, and always on the move. With a lot of professionalism, she tries to satisfy each guest according to their wishes. At the same time, she impresses with her warm and straightforward manner of speaking personally with each guest. She always keeps an overview and ensures that everything is perfectly organized. She leads her team with great competence and passion. I would also like to highlight Mr. Dimitris. Although he is not responsible for all the tables, he takes the time to personally and kindly address each guest. He is extraordinarily helpful, and you can immediately feel that he performs his work with heart and enthusiasm. A big compliment also goes to Thomas at the reception. Even upon our arrival, he impressed us with his detailed explanations, friendliness, and quick, competent answers to each of our questions. I would also like to thank the person in charge of the lunch restaurant "Curinarium." Her recommendations for the dishes, her expert advice, and her great willingness to help were excellent. She serves the dishes herself and explains them to the guests with great care and friendliness. A very special thank you also goes to the staff member who cleaned our room 267. She worked with exceptional care and attention to detail. The room was spotless and perfectly maintained every day. I can wholeheartedly recommend the TUI Blue Palazzo del Mar to both families and couples. It is the ideal place to recover from the stress of everyday life and work, to relax, and to enjoy an unforgettable vacation. Thank you very much to the entire team for the excellent hospitality! Beautiful hotel in a quiet location, pool with swim-up is great, beach is also nice. Food is okay, could be better (not 5 stars), service is okay but also not 5 stars. In the restaurant everything is good, but at the bars, in the lobby, or with management, communication is sometimes unfortunate. As a guest, one sometimes gets the feeling of being a nuisance, whether wanting to watch a World Cup game at the bar (we should do that in the room) or wanting to order something just before closing (ordering in the restaurant) or wanting to change rooms because the air conditioning was broken (we were supposedly to blame for that). All of this leaves, although everything was ultimately resolved, an unpleasant aftertaste that could have been 100% avoided with better and more customer-friendly communication.

We stayed here in August and had such an incredible time. Our swim-up room had sun for the majority of the day, from after breakfast right through until the evening. Every single member of staff we encountered was so helpful and friendly, which made every interaction even more enjoyable. We went into Kos, and the hotel very kindly organised a taxi for us. We got the bus back, which was really simple. Every day we were spoilt for choice with delicious food, and we never felt like the dishes were repeated to death. Everything was always fresh and hot. One evening we ventured into the local town for a cocktail, but it was just a little disappointing. As it was the same price as the cocktails at the hotel, we decided to stay on site for the rest of our evenings. The evening entertainment was also excellent, and we had a brilliant time at the TUI Blue Moon Party. The pool is spectacular, and it’s lovely having a swim-up room that leads straight into such a large pool. The sun loungers are also incredibly comfortable thanks to the thick padding, and there was never any struggle to find one in the main pool area as there were always plenty available. We had such a relaxing and enjoyable stay that we’ve booked to return again this year. Genuinely we had no negative comments about the hotel. Highly recommend!
