Poseidon Hotel and Apartments

Sixth year at the super friendly super convenient hotel . The newly refurbished rooms are a joy and the inclusion of cooked breakfast is a huge boost. As always the owner and family are really attentive and make coming back seem like you’re visiting family. The bar and snack bar are as good as usual and for sure we will be back.

Had a week here in June, staff were friendly and willing to help at any time, Room was very clean and air con worked well, Pool was small but didn’t use it as we spent most of our time at the beach, Walk to the main town was about 20 mins, but cheap enough in a taxi if you didn’t want to walk, walk was beautiful along the front with little bars and restaurants to stop at if wanted, Will definitely be coming back to the beautiful little hotel Beer good, service great, sun hot, what more does anyone want

What can I say … such a friendly, welcoming hotel with lovely staff. Toula & Marie were absolutely fantastic & went out of their way to ensure our holiday was perfect. They gave us tips on where to visit, helped us sort out a car, places to eat etc. On arrival at our hotel we had an issue with our room & spoke to Nikos (as it was the early hours of the morning management was unavailable) who ensured our concerns were addressed. The following morning the issue was resolved as soon as we went down for breakfast. The hotel has just undergone a refurbishment & experienced a few teething problems but any issues are dealt with immediately. All staff in the hotel from cleaning staff, catering staff, bar staff to management were eager to please, always polite, friendly & helpful. Rooms are spotless, enough space for us to be comfortable & have all amenities we needed. Rooms are cleaned daily, fresh towels & bedding are also done daily. Breakfast is basic but there are a variety of warm/cold options on a help yourself buffet style service. Location of the hotel is quiet & away from the hustle & bustle of the centre. The main bars/harbour area are around a 20minute walk away. Beaches are not sandy around Kos town, more shingle type. The best ones to go to are just past the harbour area (25 min walk) where Sunbeds are free & there is a drink/food service.
