Solid beachfront location, walkable to Chora, and we slept fine — the pool bar isn’t rowdy and doesn’t run late. But two things future guests should know.
We booked the Executive Room with Private Pool, the most expensive room here short of a family suite. There is nothing private about it. The interior door opens next to the breakfast and lunch dining area; the terrace door opens onto the pool bar and restaurant. When you’re in your private pool you find yourself literally steps from the bar and restaurant. Thats not relaxing and the opposite of “private”. The room itself is small as it could possibly be. The pool is nice — but you’re paying a premium for “private,” and the location is the worst on the property. Don’t book this room expecting seclusion. Surprisingly, it wasn’t loud during the evening but there’s no getting around the room location which must be the worst on the property.
Second, be ready for extra charges, and staff who angle for tips. In Greece, that’s out of step.
Fine hotel otherwise. Just skip that room.
