Alkyon Paros

The hotel was a mess! Only the view was worth it. At first it was dirty I wanted to leave! This is the first time I come in to make a negative comment, but I honestly hated taking a bath. And besides, there was no electricity for several hours from late at night until the morning as a result of which I went to work and didn’t have a battery on my cell phone or tablet and I couldn’t work!

Fantastic three-night stay at Alkyon Hotel Paros in July 2025. Amazing location with the beach just across the road, delicious breakfast, and super friendly, welcoming staff. A real gem — highly recommended!

We stayed in this "hotel" for 4 nights and we didn't feel welcomed and comfortable as the manager/ owner of the hotel - wasn't a nice person, I have been to a lot of greek hotels and this is the first time I felt miserable. The breakfast - buffet table (a very humble selection of food) was a total disaster as there wasn't any food left after 9 o'clock and the breakfast was till 10.30. One day there wasn't vegetables and fruits, the next day there wasn't coffee, third day there wasn't sweet cake.. and the explanation was that they didn't get the delivery that morning... Also, they don't have a waiter and the guest are supposed to take back the dishes from the tables to the kitchen - which is OK if its an apartment and not a hotel with 3 stars! Also, there is no receptionist 24/7 (they work only till 16:00 o'clock) and you can't leave the key at the reception, they yelled at us that we left the key when we went out. There is no elevator (the rooms are on first and second floor, there aren't rooms on the ground floor) and the stairs are steep and difficult to climb, so its not recommended if you have a leg problems and big/heavy suitcase. The room was ok, they cleaned it every day, even they didn't change the towels every day.
