Silver Beach Hotel

In a quite bay outside of Skala , Patmos Silver Beach Hotel is a great value for money. The rooms are well equipped and modern. The restaurant next door is again good value. The hotel is on the beach but it has no beach beds but you can use the facilities of the luxurious Akritiri Hotel next door for a reduced price.The hotel has a lovely balcony overlooking the beach where you have breakfast. Taxi service is very good

Microscopic rooms, b&b breakfast with packed yoghurt and myriad bees to have breakfast with you. A bad experience. The only positive note is that you are facing the sea.

Please note this comment is absolutely honest unlike the presentation of the Silver Beach hotel which is extremely dishonest. For example, the photo gallery highlights images of the 5-star Aktis hotel. It should be noted that the Silver Beach Hotel does not have a reception. You arrive in a backyard which more or less serves as a dump and you wander around with your suitcases before finding a person who takes you to the 5-star lobby then shows you what you are entitled to in the “silver beach annex”: a tiny room of around 15 m2 and more! (presented as being 20m2). We cannot do not fully open the window door! Breakfast included, we still paid 129 euros in September to live in such a reduced space. To avoid!
