Calypso Palace

I stayed at the Calypso Beach Hotel. I had a wonderful time there, and the entertainment team—Debi, Nana, Sofie, Wiki, Alex, Tia, and Fabio—is fantastic. The entertainers are super nice, full of energy, and always give their all. The evening shows are also amazing, and you can tell that all the entertainers are giving their all. You guys are great—keep up the good work.

The positive aspect of this hotel is the staff, who were always friendly and nice. The food has become very poor since Alltours took over, the drinks are only overly sweet, and for lunch, there were fish sticks, which is unacceptable for us. No more tablecloths; you can tell that they are cutting corners everywhere. Rooms are very worn, beds too soft and broken, when showering the entire bathroom gets flooded, and the silicone joints are deteriorating. We had a conversation with the director; he said he would take care of it right away, but that was it. For the last 11 days, he has been avoiding us. Many regular guests say that it was the last time, and unfortunately, for us too.

The location of the hotel is good; just cross the street - or the underpass, past the sister hotel, and you are at the beach. Many loungers available, no annoying vendors. At the beach, there is a bar with a large selection of drinks and crepes. Otherwise, use the on-site restaurant with a large lunch buffet. In the evening, the food was manageable and okay; however, we also utilized local restaurants. The selection of drinks was very good, both local and international - it was truly excellent. Very nice service! The rooms were clean, and all balconies faced the sea. Unfortunately, there were hardly any power outlets. For a week of relaxation, it was a good choice.
