La Marquise Luxury Resort

This hotel had been on my bucket list for a couple of years, because I loved it when we passed it on our way to another 5* hotel a bit further. And this year it was time, we booked directly with the hotel and took Adult only all inclusive. Never regretted a moment. You can't escape comparing with the other hotel (Alila) which is also very good, but still lacks the atmosphere and friendliness of this wonderful hotel. We immediately felt at home and noticed that solutions were mainly thought of. For example, the vouchers for the included specialty restaurants could be switched because there was one where we really saw nothing tasty on the menu for us, but also at check-out it was arranged so that we could keep the room until 3 pm which gave a lot of peace. And that peace and quiet and the atmosphere In La Marquise is actually what stays in our memory now that we are back home (with a great feeling of homesickness...). It is often just small things, like the lounge music that sounds from small ground speakers and the mood lighting in the swimming pools, but also the lovely lady at the Coffee House with all the delicious pastries, who wished us a safe journey home. And don't forget the buggy drivers who take you to the beach in 1.5 minutes and on the way back, if it's not too busy, still ask if they can drop you off at your room or at a bar instead of the reception. So sweet and thoughtful! And on the way to the beach they ask hikers they encounter in the heat if they might still want to ride along. Unfortunately, we have experienced several times that they then got a very cranky reaction from the guests, really a snarl, which they absolutely did not deserve! But were there no areas for improvement at all? we did: the 'cava' at L'étoile at breakfast turned out to be children's champagne 7%... and the turndown service we only experienced twice. This is actually not possible for a 5* hotel Some more tips: on the beach in front of the hotel a boat goes to Rhodes city, one way € 10,00 pp. Very nice trip and back we took a taxi, fixed price € 18.00. Lunch recommended in Rhodes town (old town) is Zebrano, very romantic and nice and cool under beautiful trees. Bring water shoes or buy them there, the sea is too beautiful and crystal clear to be put off by the stones in the surf. In short, we enjoyed intensely and hope to come back here again, and management of La Marquise: be proud and take care of your staff!

We are on our final night of a 10 night stay at La Marquise and we are nothing but thrilled with our stay here. Throughout our stay we have been looked after with care and attentiveness by the incredible staff, every single staff member has impressed us with their politeness and friendly natures. A special shout out has to go to Hasan in the Da Vinci restaurant for how quickly and expertly he goes about his job. While we had some issues when leaving the hotel due to tourist trap beach bars and restaurants everything about this hotel is excellent. From minute one we have felt comfortable and well looked after. We would definitely come back and if we were to do so we would go all-inclusive.

Exceptional stay in every respect at this amazing hotel! Spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Too many amazing staff to mention individually however a really heartfelt shout out for the pool lifeguard in the Adults Only area, our lovely cleaners and the manager and two key waiters in the Crystal bar whose professionalism and exceptional service even during very busy entertainment nights was exemplary. The food is excellent in every restaurant however I particularly enjoyed the Grill house and Coffee Shop treats and their accompanied customer service.
