Pylea Beach

The hotel has some nice rooms and a good location close to the water. Breakfast was to the good end and lovely with cleaning and new bedding every day. Minuses were a lot of noise. From aircraft and from air conditioning. A/c located on the balcony. This made it impossible to stay on the balcony while the A/C was driving. The beach was not exactly us, as there is stone beach. Another thing that annoyed us was that there was a green emergency light on the room. So noise and light gave us bad sleep.

Lovely hotel very friendly staff. Very clean. Lovely beach front property. Found it very hard getting in and out of the sea though. No one’s fault just difficult with or without beach shoes due to large stone and waves. Gave everyone a laugh though watching me. It is on a direct flight path to the airport and that means around 80 planes landing a day but doesn’t really bother you after a while. Didn’t notice any after 11pm unless they were late. Pool clean. Well maintained but don’t think there is any chlorine In it. Rooms spotless. Was b & b and even with my pickiness I ate well every morning. Lunch is served by the pool bar. Very nice and varied menus. I did eat in the evening at the bayside taverns. Also very good food and reasonably priced.

This is a quiet and relaxing hotell. Clean and very friendly stab. The woman in the pool bar was very friendly and helpfull and made us feel very welcome. A bit far from Rhodes. A lot of airplane noise.
