Vergina Sun

Vergina Sun is the ideal place to stay! The apartments are relatively modern in style and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Before I arrived I was sent instructions of how to get my key for my apartment as there isn’t a manned reception. The information provided also included recommendations for transport from the hotel which was a nice touch. The apartment itself was clean and tidy. It had a small kitchenette that was equipped with cups,glasses,pots, pans, cutlery and plates. Next to the kitchenette is a small shelf that has a kettle for hot drinks. The bathroom was laid out like a wet room with the shower, sink and toilet. The shower was super powerful and hot water was always available. On arrival there was only 1 pillow on each bed, on the second day I stopped by one of the other rooms being cleaned by housekeeping and asked if it was possible for another 2 pillows. I spoke to mini, she was so pleasant and happy, nothing was too much trouble and she was more than happy to get me what I needed. 10/10 The room had a decent sized balcony with two chairs on which overlooked the pool. The pool itself was ok, a tad cold but not an issue in the summer sun. The area around the pool area could do with a bit of TLC but it was honestly fine for what we needed. I’d definitely recommend these apartments, they were reasonably priced, a short walk to the main strip and ideal for a chilled trip.

Very negative experience at Verginia Sun in Faliraki. • Structure hard to find, no signage or directions: even the transfer had problems. • Instead of a hotel (as booked) we found ourselves in a residence, lacking minimum Welcoming services. No reception, no check-in: we found a sheet on the board with the room number and keys already inserted in the lock, without any security. • Dirty and poorly maintained room: stained sheets, ruined and doorless shower, cobwebs on walls, ants and cockroaches in the bathroom and even in the bed. • Non-existent Wi-Fi. • The manager, after two days, was rude and offered no solution or change of room. We paid for a hotel but the amenities were far from what was promised. Disappointing experience and not recommended.

It was a good location only it was not really clean.bathroom / shower is very small and really not clean.bed is very hard.towels are sun dried so very hard.linen is clammy and stinks.there is a very nice pool.for us really never again.
