Amerisa Suites

Unfortunately this hotel has busy road either side so is generally very dusty and felt unsafe trying to walk anywhere. The pool is much smaller than the photos make it seem. The bed was too soft so I didn’t sleep well and there are signs everywhere saying they will heavily fine you if the towels get even slightly dirty.

The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is great! The view is not of the caldera, but of the sea on the other side of Santorini, and we spent a lot of time sitting on our terrace taking it all in. Our room was not poolside, but it was just a short walk, and I appreciated the privacy. There was a hot tub that was available, but for an additional charge. The walk to town is uphill - it's only three or four minutes, but the last bit of it is pretty steep. Still, it is convenient to Fira, and within ten minutes you can be deep within the stores, restaurants, and activities of the town. The quiet of being a little outside of town was appreciated at night. Oh, and don't forget to feed the cats. :)

Very nice and cosy property. 10 mins walk to the city centre Fira. Room that we got was small but because Agoda misled us into booking. We booked a 3 occupancy room but here we got a double occupancy room, because they thought that the third person was a child. Since the hotel was choco block we Cldnt shift to a bigger room but the ppl at the reception desk were really Apologetic. The room had an adjoining balcony cum terrace which looked out to the city of Santorini and the sea. Stay was very nice. Clean and comfortable rooms.
