I have booked a stay at Ableonas retreat via Booking dot com I paid the extra amount required in order to reschedule Now that I need to reshedule the hotel have not honoured this and not helped me and keep referring back to Booking dot com and Booking dot com keep referring me back to the hotel I would adivise any traveller against booking this hotel via Booking dot com as the ability to rescheudle dates has not been honoured and I have lost a lot of money for them not upholding what I paid extra for I have concerns about this hotel as they do not give you the service you pay for

Honestly exceeded all my expectations, it’s small but quiet and lovely. The staff are so friendly and so helpful. Location- there’s quite a few restaurants in walking distance and a shop that is two minutes away. You can walk to the bus stop, and get the bus to Fira for €2 each way, taxis to Fira are typically €20. You can get to Oia by getting a bus from Fira. You can walk to Fira which would be about 30-50 mins. Rooms - lovely and have everything you want. Only issue I had was sometimes the shower was too hot or too cold after a while and couldn’t find a medium but that might’ve been just me! Pool area - so lovely and amazing views. There is a sun terrace you can sit on all night and watch the sunset from - you get a great view. I would absolutely return as this exceeded all my expectations, and I loved Santorini in general. Thank you to the staff for their friendliness and helpfulness. I will be back.

Lovely location, friendly and informative host (Pavlos), clean, comfortable bed, excellent customized breakfast each morning, and amazing sunset views. Would absolutely recommend for those seeking a quieter location that is still accessible to all the places you want to go. Reasonable prices. Right on the walking trail but not a madhouse.
