From Pepi’s warm welcome to Eftichis’ excellent service if the stylish restaurant this beautiful hotel is made extra special by its staff. This hotel is on a slope but a smiling buggy driver will sort any mobility issues and your rooms will be cleaned by smiling staff. The position of the hotel is amazing, looking out across towards the volcano. You can sit next to your private pool and watch the ships come and go. The sunbeds are the most comfortable I’ve encountered and the outside seating area affords an alternative al fresco spot.
Akrotiri is a quieter part of the island but note it’s a 15 minute walk to get to the town along a busy road. There you can pick up snacks etc as the restaurant although excellent is not cheap and is the only eating option. However Pepsi will gladly arrange a free taxi to nearby eateries .
We stayed a week - and enjoyed every minute. A real slice of heaven.
