Caldera View Bungalow Resort

We had a great stay! The hotel is close to everything as long as you have a rental car. It is very quiet, soothing, and welcoming! The pool is just amazing!! We had it all to ourselves for 7 days, pure bliss. The view is magnificent and the reading lounge is really great for relaxing. Family hotel where every staff member is attentive to your needs. The bath towels are changed every day and cleaning is included. The rooms are simple but functional, with just one complaint about the morning light that wakes you up because of the simple curtains, and the parking lot is lit all night while the sun rises at 6 AM. Pool towels are provided. The breakfast is plentiful and the staff is lovely! On the last day, our flight was at 8 PM, and the manager allowed us to use the room until our departure as well as the pool for free!! Thank you again, it was an unforgettable and very relaxing stay. Very affordable price for guaranteed tranquility. I apologize again for my very limited English! We were able to discover the local food, which is excellent! Each restaurant offers you a dessert or drink at the end of the meal. The locals are lovely and very welcoming! The prices are affordable! Great stay!

our tour organiser placed our group in this establishment for 3 days in October 2025. All groups complained to the tour organiser that the establishment was well below the expected standards and asked to be shifted to another location for the following reasons 1. Rooms were clean but too small to accommodate couples with suitcases in the way of luggage storage and no coat hangers to hang clothes. 2. We had no hot showers for two of the three days we were there. 3. No shower screens so water made its way out. 4. Need to catch buses to go anywhere due to the location. Very friendly staff that tried to move people around when tour organiser failed to respond to requests from the owner of the establishment and guests alike. The owner stated that the establishment is a 3star and would not have taken the booking if he knew that a higher rated establishment was required.

Fantastic resort. Friendly and welcoming staff, (we believe family run), always greeted with a smile and ready with information and advice if needed. Rooms were basic but had everything you need and were kept exceptionally clean; we had fresh towels every day. We stayed in Room 105, a pool view room, just behind the pool bar, and found it to be quiet, comfortable and in a good position. The bed was really comfy. Pool area is amazing and really relaxing, always plenty of beds to choose from, never too busy; music playing round the pool bar but at just the right level to give a good atmosphere. Pool towels are also provided at the pool bar which is a nice touch. Food is available at the pool bar aswell as the restaurant over the road (which has amazing sunset views). We especially enjoyed the cocktails!! As for location, it is a bit isolated in terms of walking to nearby towns/restaurants/bars, but we hired a car and found that we were excellently positioned to explore the island. Overall we had an amazing week at Caldera View and would recommend 👌 😊
