Grand View Hotel

We had a nice stay at this hotel as a family of four. We arrived in the evening and, despite getting there late, we were still able to enjoy a meal by the pool, which was very much appreciated after our journey. We stayed in a family room, which was comfortable, clean, and well suited to our needs. The hotel truly lives up to its reputation, with absolutely amazing views that make the whole experience even more special. Breakfast was good, with a decent selection of options, and the best part was enjoying it while taking in the breathtaking scenery. During our stay, the hotel was pleasantly uncrowded, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The staff were super welcoming and friendly throughout our visit. We also really appreciated the special transfer service: we were picked up from the airport on arrival and later taken to the port to catch our ferry, which made our travels completely hassle-free. If we had to mention one small downside, it would be the evening food. It was perfectly okay, but not particularly memorable. That said, the spectacular location more than makes up for it, and it’s something you quickly forget while enjoying the stunning surroundings. One thing to keep in mind is that you’ll definitely want to rent a car if you plan to explore the island, as the hotel is perched high on the cliffs and isn’t within walking distance of attractions or restaurants. Overall, the hotel is exceptionally clean, very well maintained, and offers a fantastic experience. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with breathtaking views and outstanding hospitality.

We had an amazing time at Grand View. Everything was perfection - the views, the friendly staff, the food. We loved the breakfast each morning and really got to know and love the area. Megalahori is adorable and an easy walk. Do not hesitate to book, and stay away from the large crowds by making this your home base. We are already dreaming about plans to go back.

The Grand view has the best view out of all of the hotels I stayed at in Greece. The price was surprisingly affordable and the rooms were very nice. They staff was very attentive and nice and their room service was fast and tasty. Although it’s not walkable in terms of location the view and the pool were something unforgettable. To clarify their views are of the Agean sea, it gave a quiet secluded vibe, although I had stayed at other hotels that had more of a city view, this to me was superior for relaxing and having quiet time. It felt very adult and upscale. I would stay here first the next time I travel to Santorini.
